Since I read a few days ago that the painter, Andrew Wyeth passed away I thought I would do a small post on some of his prolific work.
Wyeth's paintings come across as almost photographic in their precision to details. The light he uses is sweet, delicate and warm, especially in the bottom painting of the young woman in bed. It just bursts with light and life. Thats really what I like about his work; the presence of natural light and life. Everything he does just seems perfectly candid and real.
