Your friends hold the lullabies

Finally got around to bleaching these old jeans the other day. I really like how they turned out, but I think they may need another wash to get rid of the pungent odor of bleach.

Next up I want to create an inexpensive replica of this bleached denim Karen Walker dress. I am absolutely in love with every aspect of this dress... except the insane pricetag!

I guess you could say I was inspired today to finally take some photographs. I spent the better half of the afternoon snapping shots of some of my favorite things around my house. I thought it would be a nice memorial of my time spent growing up here; the things I collected, loved, held onto, my favorite spaces, cracks in the wall, and the random things I hardly noticed until now after nearly 10 years in this house.

I feel like this song/video fits the mood of my afternoon. The music is just irresistibly beautiful and ethereal, and so is the video. Its a mix of Peter Pan and the Pied Piper and right now I'm feeling the urge to fly away to Neverland and never grow up. Enjoy :)
