I Want You to Want Me

I've decided that I am in the market for a new all-purpose leather bag...and these are some of the contenders. The first bag is the Hitchcock bag by designer Jenny Yuen and I think it may just be the perfect bag...it looks like Mary Poppins could pull an entire dining room set out of it. I love the soft leather and gold accents. And it even has long strap to wear it across the body for convenience.

The last three bags are Charles David. I'm not very familiar with the brand, but I saw his purses at Nordstrom Rack yesterday and decided they looked pretty nice. (I also saw a Gorgeous MJ bag on 50% sale down from $1000...why don't I have $500??) I think the black is my fave, but the pink does have something special about it :) What are your thoughts?

She Even Looks Fashionable on Halloween!

You know someone is truly fashionable when they manage to look completely chic even when theres a giant cardboard moon attached to their face. MK looks beautiful in these halloween pictures dressed as the moon. The band of silver shimmery eye shadow is so fun, and the new hair extensions look amazing! I love Mary Kate's long blonde waves. That dress is also amazing, I believe it is the same kaftan she wore as a bridesmaid in her friends wedding over the summer.

Dial M For Murder

I recently discovered this beautiful Alfred Hitchcock inspired photo shoot when searching for Norman Jean Roy photographs on the web. As a huge Hitchcock movie fan, these photos are exciting to see, however they are also technically beautiful photographs with a comedic modern twist. (Especially the first photograph where Seth Rogen portrays Cary Grant's character in North by Northwest)

I think Vanity Fair usually hits the mark with their photo shoots because they consistently hire the best photographers...Annie Leibowitz anyone? Vanity Fair also does photoshoots like this a lot where they have modern actors appear in multi page spreads with a common theme, my favorite being their spread from last year called Killers Kill, Dead Men Die. The photoshoot was done by Annie Leibowitz and featured about 25 of todays best actors and actresses in a film noir style shoot.
